DAY 01 / OCT 13 MANILA / ROME

Depart Manila on a board a prestigious airlines on your way to Rome, Italy. Enjoy in-flight meals and entertainment.

DAY 02 / OCT 14 ROME (D)

Welcome to Rome! After airport formalities, meet and greet then transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 03 / OCT 15 ROME (ABF,D)

Morning guided tour includes the Vatican to visit St. Peter’s Basilica and Square and the Vatican Museum. Continue your sightseeing with Piazza de Venezia, Vittorio Emmanuel Monument, the Roman Forum and a photo stop at the Coliseum. Toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain on the hope of returning to Rome. Free time to walk to the Spanish Steps and shop for luxurious branded goods.

DAY 04 / OCT 16 ROME – ASSISI (2 1/2 HOURS) ASSISI – PISA (ABF,D) (3 HOURS)

Stop in Assisi the hometown of the Beloved St. Francis. Then onto to St. Francis Tomb at the Basilica dedicated to him. Continue on to Pisa to for a photo stop at the amazing Leaning Tower. Check in to your hotel.

DAY 05 / OCT 17 PISA – MONACO (3 HOURS ) MONACO – NICE (ABF,D) (1 HOUR)

We cross the border to France and stop at the Principality of Monaco. See the Annunciation Cathedral where Prince Rainer & Princess Grace are buried. See the Royal Palace and a view of the Monaco Racing Circuit. Later continue to Nice for dinner and check in.

DAY 06 / OCT 18 NICE – BARCELONA (ABF,D) (7 HOURS)

Leave the French Riviera and cross over the Spanish border on your way to Barcelona. Check in to your hotel upon arrival.

DAY 07 / OCT 19 BARCELONA (ABF,D)

Morning guided visit to La Sagrada Familia Cathedral, Barcelona’s most famous landmark and Gaudi’s unfinished masterpiece. We then visit the Cathedral then continue on to the Olympic Stadium. Ascend to Montjuïc Mountain, which offers a panoramic view of the city and harbor. In the afternoon, drive to Montserrat and visit the Royal Basilica, which holds the famous 12th century Romanesque carving of Virgen Moreneta, the Black Virgin.

DAY 08 / OCT 20 BARCELONA – LOURDES (ABF,D) (5 HOURS)

After lunch, return to France on your way to the major pilgrimage site in Europe – Lourdes. Check in to your hotel. Rest of the day is free.

DAY 09 / OCT 21 LOURDES (ABF,D)

The day is free for private devotion. You may wish to go to the Sanctuary to visit the Underground Basilica, walk the Station of the Cross, take the Holy Bath, drink the water or wash your face in the Grotto, or participate in the veneration of the sick pilgrim. Tonight, why not join the emotive candlelight procession.

DAY 10 / OCT 22 LOURDES – ZARAGOSA (3 HOURS) ZARAGOSA – BURGOS (ABF,D) (3 HOURS)

Cross the Spanish border on your way to Zaragoza and see the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, considered the Patroness of the country and the Spanish Civil Guard. Afterwards, dinner then check in to your hotel in Burgos.

DAY 11 / OCT 23 BURGOS – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (ABF,D) (6 HOURS)

This morning, visit the Burgos Gothic Cathedral. Afterwards, drive to Santiago de Compostela, a World Heritage City and one of the most important places in Catholicism. In the Cathedral, see the silver crypt where St. James´s remains lie, the statue of St. James the Apostle sitting on the high altar. See the 12th century Portico de la Gloria and the Plaza de Obradoiro. Check in to your hotel.

DAY 12 / OCT 24 SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – FATIMA (ABF,D) (5 HOURS)

Cross the border of Portugal and drive to Fatima where Our Lady of the Rosary appeared to the 3 little shepherds. Visit Aljustrel to see their homes and Valinhos where Our Lady and the Angel appeared. Then to the Sanctuary to visit the Apparition Chapel and the Great White Basilica where the Blessed Franciso, Jacinta and Lucia are buried.

DAY 13 / OCT 25 FATIMA – LISBON – FATIMA (ABF,D)

Drive to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon – see the Tagus river, Marques de Pombal Square, Liberdade Avenue, pass by Belem Palace, official residence of the President of Portugal. Stop at Belem Tower – icon of the Age of Discovery and the Monument of the Discoveries. Close by is Jeronimos Monastery, magnificent example of the Manueline style. Visit Santo Antonio de Padua Church – where Saint Anthony of Padua was actually born. Transfer back to Fatima for some free time for private devotion. You may attend the candlelight procession at night.

DAY 14 / OCT 26 FATIMA – AVILA (4 HOURS) AVILA – MADRID (ABF,D) (1 HOUR)

After breakfast, cross the border to Spain and stop in Avila – the City of Kings and Saints, completely encircled by 11th century walls and birthplace of St. Theresa of Avila and visit the Convent of St. Theresa and the Cathedral. Continue to the capital city, Madrid. Overnight and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 15 / OCT 27 MADRID (ABF,D)

This morning, go on a half day city sightseeing tour of this beautiful city and see the Puerto del Sol, Gran Via, Cibeles Fountain, Plaza de Espanya, the Royal Palace and the Cathedral. Afternoon free for shopping.

DAY 16 / OCT 28 MADRID / MANILA (ABF)

Your memorable tour concludes with a transfer to the airport for your flight back to Manila.

  1. YOUR HOLIDAY RESERVATION

On receipt of your deposit, subject to availability and at our discretion, World Juanderer will reserve your place on your selected holiday. A contract is only made between you and us upon your booking being confirmed and accepted by us.

  1. PRICE

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Each package tour and its add-ons are subject to change based on the tour operators and number or participants in the tour.

  1. IF WE CANCEL OR CHANGE YOUR HOLIDAY

3.1 World Juanderer reserves the right to change or cancel your booking in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control.

3.2 If an alternative is not available or acceptable, you will be entitled to either a full refund of monies paid by you to us or transfer to another World Juanderer holiday without payment of any transfer fee.

3.4 If the change or cancellation is due to force majeure (i.e. circumstances like political unrest, war or threat of war, riots, bad weather conditions etc.), we will give a full refund of any monies paid to us less reasonable expenses incurred by us in respect of your booking.

3.5 World Juanderer is not responsible for the costs of any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations or rescheduling of any trip departure.

  1. HOLIDAY DETAILS AND CONDITIONS

4.1 With our personal experience in traveling and joining these tour packages, World Juanderer will do our best, at our discretion, to select accommodation, sightseeing trips, and transportation to give you good value for money.

4.2 World Juanderer constantly strives to improve trip itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary, we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. World Juanderer is not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

  1. LIABILITY

5.1 We will be entitled to keep for each account any interest earned on such monies.

5.3 All monies paid by you to us, whether in respect of the deposit or full payment, may be disbursed by us as and when we see fit, in respect of the services to be provided and/or fees payable under your selected holiday. The payment of a deposit or any other monies in respect of your holiday shall be deemed to be an authorization to disburse thereof as aforesaid.

  1. BOOKING YOUR TRAVEL

1.1 In order to reserve your holiday, you must inquire and get in touch with the Travel Specialist to check the preferred travel package. World Juanderer accepts the deposit as a first installment of the holiday price only once World Juanderer has confirmed the booking in writing.

1.2 Deposit and final payment will be converted to the local currency (if payment is non-Philippines Peso) at point of booking. Conversion is based on the prevailing exchange rate at time of full/balance payment and what is released by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

1.3 World Juanderer cannot guarantee special add-on requests nor will it assume any responsibility or liability if clients’ special requirements are not fulfilled.

  1. PAYMENT

2.1 If payment isn’t made by the due date, World Juanderer may assume that you have cancelled and World Juanderer will levy cancellation charges in accordance with clause 3 below.

2.2 Tickets and other documents will not be forwarded until we have received full payment.

2.3 In the case of Late Bookings made within 45 days of your departure from your home country, the full cost of the holiday will be payable immediately on booking and we reserve the right to provide all travel documents at the holiday departure point.
