There’s a lot of great scenery in the mountainous country of Macedonia, where a lot of tourists go to hike and ski. I spent a lot of my time in the city, though, where one can observe a culture that has Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman influences. Night owls would be pleased to discover that the capital of Skopje as a healthy nightlife. I really enjoyed the clubs and music events!
