As the seat of philosophy, politics, and mythology in the olden world, Greece is a treasure trove of ancient culture. My trip reminded me of epic journeys of Gods and Heroes, the type that was previously described only in schoolbooks. The place is unmatched when it comes to ancient historical attractions. There are many things other than mythology, as well. Aside from the temples and monuments in Athens, Delphi, and Meteora, one can also enjoy the beautiful beaches of Santorini and the islands of the Saronic Bay.
